I remember writing that letter back in 2012 and to this day I am so grateful and feel truly blessed to have found Robyn Biener and Alicia Greene-Holenstein as my realtors. So much has happened since then, but most importantly Robyn and Alicia were there for me in a way that I never expected. You see, in 2015 my husband was diagnosed with bone cancer and 9 months later he passed away. These past six months have been a total blur, but the final results are well worth it. From getting outbid by all cash offers, $70-$80K over asking price offers, to finally getting our offer accepted, to then pulling out of escrow after finding out that we’d have to put $30K into the foundation and roof right away, to then going back into the market, getting outbid a few more times, and finally finding this gem, closing escrow on our first home that had great bones, but cosmetically hadn’t been touched since the 50s! It feels like an entirely new place now. We torn down walls, completely gutted the kitchen, refinished the original hardwood floors, and are so SO happy with how it all turned out. We are writing to express our heartfelt gratitude to South Bay Brokers, especially to Alicia Greene-Holenstein and Robyn Biener. They are truly a high-caliber team. Their knowledge of the local market and their key contacts in the community helped us tremendously in our search to buy our home. After 9/11 my husband was told that he was about to lose his job unless he considered on relocating with the company. Over the course of 20-odd years of buying homes we have dealt with a number of Realtors from East to West Coast and clearly Alicia and Robyn set the standard against which the rest must be measured.
